It always amazes me that even a show at this level that audio is sacrificed for the shiny shiny.

If the music is good, lighting effects are unnecessary. I think that light should only enhance musicians and instruments. And create an atmosphere where musicians feel comfortable giving their best to people. Also a little light on the crowd so the musicians can see them and feel the presence is very important for live music. I think there are too many spotlights. When I went to the concert, the lighting effects interfered with the music, putting a curtain on it. So I closed my eyes and appreciated Hans Zimmer's music much better.

Was an amazing production. My 2nd favorite eurovisions since 2020. My favorite was 2021. 2021 literally had an amazing ambience. Also stage was beautiful, followed by the venue and stagings.

I was at two of the shows. I was immediately blown away by the rig. That last quote here sums it up, "how to bring Eurovision into the future".

As a Swede paying for this show with taxes, I am so proud that my taxes goes to professionals that makes a mark. Not everything is sports..

Hand down favorite eurovision stage in years

I would love to work with these guys. I was building similar stuff in a resort in Greece for hotels, setting up stages, lights for dj pool parties, live music. I would love to work in such environment.

These shows were SO fantastic to watch!!!!

OMG, the mixing area looks like a mixture of a LAN party and Mission Control at NASA! So impressive how they pieced all these things together!

They are talking so proud of "the new look for Eurovision" and "setting new standarts". Dont get me wrong, the stage looked good, kind of. But over all it looked booring and empty and overloaded at the same time. the LED Wall and Cubes was woo much content changing at the same time. The Cross Stage was big, but mostly empty. What was shown in TV was confusing and didnt represent the actual show very good. The stage might be technicaly amazing and complex but it wasnt great to look at.

I have calculated the price of the Fixtures and the Sound equip (with ChatGPT 4o). Its absolutly insane. Congrats for making so an good show.
